General Terms and Conditions for Renting Short-Stay Apartments
1. General
These terms and conditions apply to all bookings and rental agreements related to short-stay apartment rentals at Slapen bij Tante Bed. By making a booking, you accept these terms and conditions.
2. Booking procedure
A booking can be made online, by telephone or email.
The booking is only final after you have received a confirmation from us and made a payment as described in the next section.
3. Payment and Payment Terms
Payment: Upon booking, you will pay a deposit of [30]% of the total rental price. The remaining balance must be paid no later than [5] before arrival.
Payment of the total amount: If the booking is made within [2] of the arrival date, the full amount is due immediately.
Payments must be made via [bank transfer, credit card, etc.].
4. Cancellation
Free cancellation: If you cancel more than 5 days before your scheduled arrival, you will receive a full refund.
Cancellation within 2 days before arrival: In case of cancellation within 2 days before arrival, the deposit will not be refunded.
In case of no-show (not showing up without notification) the full amount will be charged.
5. Check-in and Check-out
Check-in: Check-in is possible from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival.
Check-out: Check-out must be done before 11:00 am on the day of departure.
Please let us know in advance if you need a different check-in or check-out time. We'll do our best to accommodate you, but this can't always be guaranteed.
6. Deposit and Damages
A deposit of EUR 200 may be required upon check-in to cover any damages.
The deposit will be refunded within 5 days after departure, unless there are any damages or other costs that need to be deducted.
7. Pets
Pets are not allowed in the apartment.
8. Conduct and Responsibility
The tenant is responsible for the apartment and for the behaviour of fellow travelers and/or guests.
We expect you to treat the apartment neatly and respectfully and not to cause any nuisance to the neighbors.
Smoking is not allowed in the apartment.
9. Use of the Apartment
The apartment may only be used by registered guests.
It is not permitted to use the apartment for purposes other than those for which it is rented (for example for parties or business meetings).
10. Force Majeure
In the event of force majeure (such as fire, flooding, or other unforeseen circumstances) that makes it impossible to rent the apartment, we reserve the right to cancel the booking. In that case, you will receive a full refund.
11. Liability
We are not liable for any loss, damage or injury to guests or their property during their stay in the apartment, unless this is the result of gross negligence on our part.
We do our utmost to provide a safe and comfortable environment, but cannot accept responsibility for external factors such as weather conditions or utility disruptions (e.g. electricity or water).
12. Privacy
We respect your privacy. Your personal information will only be used for booking and managing your stay and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, unless this is necessary for the execution of the rental agreement.
13. Applicable Law
These terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
Booking Conditions for Renting Short-Stay Apartments
Booking confirmation: A booking is only valid once we have sent you a confirmation email, together with the payment information.
Payment: The booking will be confirmed once the deposit has been paid. The remaining balance must be paid before arrival.
Cancellation: You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 5 days before your arrival date. For cancellations later than this, the deposit will not be refunded. Please also see our cancellation policy above.
Changes: If you need to change your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but we cannot make any guarantees.
